From the bottom up, our buildings are top notch. Take a ride and see…
Floor 1. The Flooring. Engineered wood is used for building homes because it’s long lasting and strong. The floors in our units are made of 3/4″ thick tongue in groove wood.
Floor 2. The Joists. A stable floor has joists spaced closely enough to hold it up. The joists you’ll find in our buildings are spaced 16″ on center, and are made of impressive 2×6’s. If you have a need to support unusually heavy items, we can build you a floor with joists spaces at 12″.
Floor 3. The Runners. Our buildings won’t look portable when we put them on your property, but they are. Underneath the floors and joists, you’ll find 4×6 notched runners made of pressure treated lumber. The joists fit into these runners, and then they are bolted together so that when the building moves, the building stays straight and stable.
Come on in and see. From the bottom to the top, from those joists to the roofline, you’ll find that our buildings at Hometown Sheds are quality – of the highest kind!
